Photoshoot at SPH News Centre - 131209
To wrap up as winners of Project Reach, we had to go for a Photoshoot at SPH News Centre for an article that will be coming out on the 17th December (Thursday).
Together with the Earthlings, we reached SPH at around 12, met up with reporter Ms Sheryl Lim who asked us for our proposal and a few details before introducing us to photographer Ms Neo Xiaobin who took us to the top of the building.
On the rooftop, we did various poses on the basketball court, and yes we did the jumping shot that graduates are often found in as well. Cliche but still, it does look good does it not?
After close to an hour on the rooftop, we then adjourned to the studio, where we took more shots- this time indoors.
And this time, I have some pictures to show
This is how the studio looks like:

The changing room

Dressing table

The ‘main’ room or focus of the room

The waiting or sitting area…

Various ‘tools’ or ’stools’ to help with posing…

How it finally looks when the equipment have all been set up.

A few pictures of the shoot in action (Earthlings):

The yellow light really make the pictures look good! Now you know..~

Photographer hard at work..~

And finally its our turn~
Setting up for our shoot…

Some of our random shots:

Yes we were told to converse as per normal..

Our group leader Yamuna likes this pic the most~

I like this one better~

Do we not look natural?

And that concludes the photoshoot.
Afterthoughts: Posing and constantly trying to maintain a smile is not easy for both the photographer and the photograph-ee. Thankfully we didn’t have to think of what themes or poses- it was all in the realm of Xiaobin.
There were many times when she told us to laugh, and would prompt us by saying ‘hahaha’ or ‘hehehe’. I felt that was really funny, and yet so effective at the same time.
After the 90 minutes photoshoot we went to Sheryl’s office for a final debrief.. before heading off to wherever we needed to go.
Remember, the article comes out on MyPaper on 17th December (Thursday). The rest of the pictures can be found here.
Hope I don’t look too weird in the pictures…
Signing off- Aaron
