Met up with Bryan a few hours earlier to get our hats. Originally wanted to buy one at Bugis Village, but turns out that it was raining and he was stuck in Suntec, hence we decided to meet there instead.

After walking around for a quite some time, we eventually managed to get our hats at the same shop, a winter clothing store. Heh, can you envision how mine looks like yet?

You’ll see it later, so no worries.

Anyways, after that, we took a bus over to the event location- the Singapore Art Museum. I must say it’s the first time I’ve ever been inside. The last time I came to this area was the CWS or Lynn Paw Pledge Flea market stall nearby, so I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect.

The place was surprisingly high-tech, and mostly air-conditioned, other than the hallways and the courtyard, and it was very roomy. Then again it IS a Wednesday night and the eve of New Year’s Eve…

We reached at 7:15pm, registered and waited a bit until it was time to eat. And we did that while sitting around the courtyard… its really a very nice feeling. There was waaaay too much food though. Considering that there were two buffet stations and not more than 70(?) people, quite a lot of food was left over. And it tasted great btw, lets hope it wasn’t that big a waste.

Not too long after the event started, and the “Black Diamond Ninjas” played a couple of songs. Their guest vocalist was really good, and the MC of the day was the bassist as well. Talk about multi talented huh?

After that we went back, and the BDN performed more songs, before Lucky draw time and “Only after Coffee” performed… then Bingo and Lucky draw time again.
