From DK’s blog, i picked up a post that speaks of a petition.

What is this petition for?

Recently, on the 25th of January, 3 youths were knocked over and killed by an errant bus driver in Malaysia. The “Slim River Bus Crash Incident” took the lives of Lee Nian Ning (21), Mohd. Zailani (23) and Pang Boon Eng (20). It was reported that the driver’s company had 13 summonses on the bus itself.

3 lives lost, due to the fact that there were no checks and balances of the bus companies. Would you hire someone with multiple convictions of robbery and theft as a security guard?
Would you hire someone who has no regard of the law as a police officer?
Would you hire someone who recklessly drives as a bus driver?

I believe it was an tragedy waiting to happen, and these 3 poor souls paid the price (God bless them, and I hope that everyone who knows them will get over this loss soon).
Now parents, friends, relatives will never look at the roads the same way again. For if no actions are taken, other such accidents will no doubt happen again.
